Lejla Njemčević, the most successful cyclist from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the 2024 European Vice-Championship, has officially signed with Orbea for the 2026 season. Starting in 2026, Njemčević will compete on Orbea bikes, marking a major new chapter in her professional career. Orbea is globally recognized as one of the World’s leading manufacturers of high-performance racing bicycles.

Lejla Njemčević has established herself as one of the most consistent and successful athletes in international marathon mountain biking. Following two outstanding seasons in
which she claimed overall World Cup victories in both 2022 and 2023, she finished the 2025 season ranked 4th overall in the UCI Marathon World Cup. Njemčević’s clear objective is to
return to the very top of the World UCI standings.
